Self Portraiture

I’m currently loving taking picture of myself with different themes or topic to represent a certain situation. It happened since I joined the flickr group Filipina Flickrites. Members are so creative, smart and beautiful. Maybe it’s a package when you start to love the hobby of photography. You’ll try some creative techniques using adobe photoshop or whatever software to edit pics. Putting up texture, extracting pictures, converting Raw to JPEG etc2x. At first it’s hard to figure it out but eventually, the more you try to explore, the more you’ll get better. I am not saying I’m better but I’m learning much.
My first entry at FF group theme is entitled Half-Naked. I didn’t take picture of myself since I have lots of photos before. I just add texture..
On the second week , the theme was to choose TheGashlycrumbTinies characters to portray. I made two entries for the whole week. I chose R is for Rhoda consumed by a fire .
B is for Basil assaulted by bears
Third week theme: With Your Cameras. I made four entries for this since I love taking mirror shots!
On the fourth week theme was Pin-Up Girls. I made three entries. Last submission today.

Di ba na mention nimo tung una, u don’t like make-up. But you look good in make-up. I t enhances your features and most importantly, it makes you look more sophisticated.

Wow thanks Bing. Feeling ko nga yun, iba nagagawa nang make up sa itsura ko, nawawala ang innocent and babyface looking daw. Nagiging woman daw me sabi nang mga friends ko rin haha!

Uy, ang ganda naman ng effects. I haven’t tried photoshopping to that effect. Medyo conservative pa kasi ako eh hehehe. I’m still relying on the straight out of the camera (SOOC) result of the pictures that I take. I’ll try learning photoshop

Your work is extremely creative. A friend of mine is a professional photographer, so I am always seeing quality pics. But as he does mainly commercial work, news and sport, there is not a lot of creativity. I am impressed with the effects, they are great.
