This is my first post and I want to tell something about the camera I’m using.
The EOS Digital Rebel XS/EOS 1000D is a digital single-lens reflex camera with a 10.10-megapixel image sensor. The camera provides many features such as high-speed, 7 – point autofocus to quickly focus moving objects. Picture Styles to expand your photographic expression, diverse shooting modes from Full Auto to Creative modes, and live View shooting. CMOS sensor, 3888 x 2592 image size, Auto ISO adjust, Auto lighting optimizer
It also incorporates the EOS Integrated Cleaning System to eliminate dust spots on images and the Self Cleaning Sensor Unit shake off dust on the sensor.
I take a few test shots to familiarize myself with my new camera. Yeah it’s new and this is the most fabulous camera I ever have. I will post the test shots soon. For now here’s the look of my Canon and my old camera as well plus my lenses and accessories.

How was the transfer from a standard digital camera to a digital slr?
I am looking at making the switch at the moment and have the EOS 1000D in mind but I can’t quite convince myself to make the jump as it’s a lot of money which I could possibly waste if I can’t get to grips with the increased learning curve.
